Work has changed. AI is evolving. But team chat is stuck in the past.
Glue is here to fix that. We’ve created the first platform for agentic team chat, where AI isn’t a plugin, but a core teammate. And today we’re excited to share that we’ve raised a Series A round to accelerate this vision, so that every team can work faster and smarter with AI embedded into their workflows.
Current team chat tools are noisy, disorganized, and too often a source of distraction rather than productivity. Meanwhile, AI is powerful but disconnected - living in browser tabs, separate apps, or tacked onto workflows. The result is that context gets lost, actions don’t connect, and AI is another tool to manage.
That’s why we’ve built Glue. Agentic team chat reshapes how teams collaborate with AI, their tools, and with each other, opening up new and faster ways to get things done.
And thanks to $20M in Series A funding from Abstract Ventures, plus Chapter One, Hack VC, Goldcrest Capital, and many others, we have the resources to keep pushing Glue forward. Our partners believe what we believe: collaboration tools must evolve from disorganized channels into platforms that seamlessly connect people, agents, apps, and actions.
Glue’s native capabilities are the start: multiplayer AI in the same thread as your team, goal-oriented threaded chat, and the ability to link directly to your tools with MCP. Glue can connect to thousands of tools across hundreds of supported apps and integrations, then autonomously decide which to use to accomplish its goal. This makes Glue the first truly agentic team chat platform, turning conversations into real results.
Under these functionalities is the foundation of a platform built for builders. Glue is customizable, extensible, and - crucially - open data. We want teams to shape Glue into whatever they need, whether that’s a startup running fast experiments or an enterprise scaling complex workflows, and then own it. Your data is your data, always.
This is just the beginning. We’re working toward a world where AI is a smart assistant in every workflow, taking on the busywork so people can focus on critical thinking and decision-making. As agents become more commonplace, Glue will be the space where teams can interact with them, no matter what platform or service they’re embedded in.
